We at Mountain Wellness Believe that there is no one approach to healing. We recognize that everyone is unique, and strive to create an integrated approach to healing that works best for each individual.
The staff and counselors at Mountain Wellness take a holistic approach to healing, focusing on you as a whole person and not just a collection of symptoms that need to be solved. This holistic approach to healing encompasses traditional as well as alternative medicine. Our counselors will help you evaluate objectives, prioritize them, and achieve goals. We are based out of Northern Arizona but thanks to fabulous advances in technology these last few years, we can now communicate with people around the world. So please do not feel limited by your location. Our counselors will work with you over the phone or internet to set up a healing plan, contact specialists in your area, or just answer a question you might have about healing. Mountain Wellness also has access to interpreters in case English is not your native language.
Our founders name is Daniel Connella. He is a person who is very interested in helping others find a healing path that is right for them. He has worked in the medical field for the past ten years in emergency services, and has spent the last six years as a family therapist. In the past few years, he has been managing his own traumatic brain injury which resulted from a rock climbing fall. His focus on healing stems from a desire to maximize his own healing, while helping others with their healing. Dan understands that healing looks different for each person. His intent now is to maximize each person's progress toward healing. Dan is a Master's level counselor as well as an emergency medical technician. Dan offers personal insight in managing this particular path's obstacles. Most importantly, Dan says "I am a friend and a father."
